A batch of fake 1-star reviews can be bought from public broker networks for roughly $89. Removing the damage is slow and rarely fully succeeds.

Reviewer Terms

Effective 2026-04-22 · Last updated 2026-04-22 · Version 1.0

These terms apply when you leave a review on Rogger. They are short on purpose. By submitting a review, you confirm you have read and agree to them.

1. Who you are

You are a real person who had a real transaction with the business you are reviewing. You are not the business, a competitor, a friend or family member of the business acting on its behalf, a bot, or a paid reviewer. If you are any of those, stop now — your review is not wanted and will be removed.

2. Your review must be honest

You agree that your review:

  • Is based on your own genuine experience.
  • Does not contain deliberate lies or statements you know to be false.
  • Does not defame, harass, or discriminate against any person.
  • Does not disclose another person's personal information (names of staff who did not serve you, personal details, home addresses, etc.).
  • Does not contain material that is unlawful, obscene, or promotes illegal conduct.
  • Does not infringe anyone's intellectual property (don't upload copyrighted photos you don't own).
  • Was not offered or induced in exchange for any discount, gift, refund, entry into a prize draw, or other material benefit.

3. What Rogger does with your review

We tie your review to the transaction that triggered the invitation (a stable token id in our verified ledger), so anyone reading it later can view its transaction record via our public verification page. We show your review on the business's public profile at rogger.io, inside widgets the business embeds on its own site, and in aggregate analytics we share with the business. We do not share your email or phone number with the business — we only hold hashes of those.

4. Licence you grant us

You grant Rogger and the business you are reviewing a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, translate, and distribute your review and any images you attach, for as long as the business's account is active. You can ask for your review to be anonymised (your display name replaced with "Verified customer") at any time by emailing [email protected]. Full removal is considered on a case-by-case basis.

5. Your data

We handle your personal information per our Privacy Policy. In short: we hash your contact identifier before storage, we do not share it with the business, and we do not sell your data.

6. If you regret your review

You can request anonymisation or removal within 14 days of posting, no questions asked. After 14 days, removal is at our discretion and follows the process in Terms §7.

7. If a business asks us to remove your review

We do not remove verified reviews at a business's request unless the review is unlawful. The whole point of Rogger is that verified reviews survive commercial pressure. If a business threatens legal action over your review, email us — we take defending reviewer speech seriously.

8. Defamation and legal liability

You are legally responsible for statements you make. Review content that is defamatory may expose you to civil claims under the Defamation Act 2005 (and equivalent laws outside Australia). Honest opinion, clearly stated as such, is generally protected. Lies dressed as fact are not. We will cooperate with valid legal process — including subpoenas — in accordance with law.
